This playzone is great for my 9 month old. The walls are sturdy and provide good leverage for her to stand up against. We bought 2 sets so that she has plenty of room, and we only use 6 of the 8 sides. On the downside, the gate door is a hassle to lock and unlock, but not a deal breaker since we can step over it pretty easily. We also have the playzone sitting over puzzle pieces and the walls slide around some. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase for our daughter to be able to roam safely.

it's nicely made, colorful. easy to put together, built in toy, big enough for 1 child and 1 adult to play inside. i bought 2, planning to make it larger, however, it's not needed, since most of time only baby plays in it. one minor complaint, it doesn't hold shape well when pushed - but my child is bigger than most at her age at 21 months and very strong. a good buy. we put it on a piece of rug now for winter, in the summer it's a foam mat.

As with all amazon purchases i read many reviews, this is a superb buy, not only is it the easiest playpen/yard to put together (seconds, i take mine apart and put together all day depending on what i need to use it for). The wall with music buttons and activities is a huge plus, i didn't even buy it for that, but my son at first would kick it with his feet whilst lying on his back, then started with hands and kneeling up, it keeps him entertained for ages (tip, stock up on batteries!). A really important plus was that the bars are vertical helping your child to grab and pull up to standing. The panels and corners slot into each other and there is a door which can be locked. I use mine for play time whilst i'm in and out of the room and then when i'm in the room i open it up and it forms a wall between the dining room and the living room. My advise is don't purchase the extension pack until you have tried it for quite a while as it is so diverse and a good large space already.
